چکیده
In this article we present and validate a novel methodology for estimating the temperature development heat extraction demand of closed refrigerated display cabinets (RDCs) in operating conditions, near-future prediction optimisation smart grids. The approach is based on an in-house developed hygro-thermal model RDC, which conditions each three main calculation domains, representing internal air, exchanger interior, are estimated at temporal scale seconds. interior air temperature, rate run-off condensate were validated towards experimental data with good conformity. Moreover, response purposes, article, provide examples how can be used to evaluate flexibility RDCs. hypothetical supermarket 11 RDCs exposed various thermal loads customer interactions, it that could reduced 0 up 83?127 s during opening/non-opening hours respectively. With strategic pre-cooling, latter time extended 322 s. For case signal requesting absorb excess energy, all would able run full power 17?29 s, approximately half them additional 20 opening hours. These findings total 44 five-minutes-ahead simulations possible scenarios RDCs, calculated by presented 10 conclusion, provides fast reliable results real-time predictions refrigeration control systems either benefit electrical grid or energy efficiency purposes.

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures
deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

The potential to store energy within refrigerated food products presents convenience store and supermarket operators with an opportunity to participate in utility sponsored demand response programs, whereby electricity usage can be shifted or reduced during peak periods. To determine the feasibility of reducing peak demand by shifting the refrigeration load to off-peak times, experimental and a...
